Sequoia Productions' Vice President, Gary Levitt, joined the
company in 2001 at the request of Cheryl Cecchetto to assist
her in expanding the services offered by the firm. Together,
they have been able to expand on Cheryl's incredible success
and have segued into creating prestigious events for major corporate
clients. In addition to his event coordination and design duties,
Gary is responsible for coordinating sales and marketing efforts
on behalf of the company and to convey to the public Cheryl's
vision for the company and the events that Sequoia Productions
creates. Unparalleled attention to detail, twenty years of Event
Production experience, and an impeccable sense of detail and
design have earned Gary the respect of his peers and his clients.
The son of restaurateurs in South
Africa, Gary learned a great deal about food, presentation and
service through his parents and decided to pursue a career in
the food/event business. He attended the University of Witwatersrand
in South Africa where he earned a degree in Hotel Management.
Through the school's degree program, Gary was afforded the tremendous
opportunity to work at the world famous Southern Sun Hotels in
South Africa. During his time at Southern Sun he solidified his
love for event production and catering and upon graduation moved
to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the United States doing
what he loved best.
